We review your goals, skin type, medical history, and contraindications, then design your protocol and take standardized before photos.

A small test patch confirms that the planned wavelength and parameters are safe for your specific skin before we treat a full area.

Is the Alma Harmony XL Pro safe for darker skin tones?
Yes. Unlike many older laser systems, the Harmony XL Pro is clinically validated for all skin types. Our team selects the wavelength and parameters appropriate for your specific skin tone at every session.
Does laser treatment hurt?
Most Harmony XL Pro treatments are virtually pain-free. Built-in contact cooling and In-Motion technology keep the skin comfortable throughout. Some treatments such as tattoo removal are sometimes described as a quick rubber band snap, and topical numbing is available.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on the treatment. Hair removal usually requires three to six sessions spaced one to three months apart. Vein and pigmentation treatments often need a series spaced four to eight weeks apart. Skin tightening can show visible results in one to three sessions. Tattoo removal varies by size, color, and location.
Is there downtime after a laser treatment?
Most Harmony XL Pro treatments have little to no downtime. You may have mild redness for a few hours. Treatments that involve fractional resurfacing have a slightly longer recovery, which your provider will explain in advance.
Who is not a candidate for laser treatment?
Patients who are pregnant or breastfeeding, who have recently had significant sun exposure or used tanning beds, who have active skin infections at the treatment site, who are taking certain photosensitizing medications, or who have a history of keloid scarring may need to wait or choose a different approach. We screen for these factors during your consultation.
Can I receive multiple treatments in one visit?
Yes. One advantage of the Harmony XL Pro platform is that we can combine compatible treatments in a single session, such as pigmentation correction and skin rejuvenation.
