Hormones that aren’t
a guessing game.
Bioidentical hormone pellets calibrated to your bloodwork – not a one-size formula. Men and women both treated, in Orlando, Florida.
What to know before your first hormone consult.
- Pellets, not pills or patches.
- Sub-dermal pellets release hormone steadily for 3-6 months – no daily dosing, no peaks and valleys.
- Starts with your bloodwork.
- We measure your actual levels before prescribing anything. No guesswork.
- Men and women both seen.
- Low testosterone in men, perimenopause and menopause in women – same evidence-based approach.
- Bioidentical means plant-derived.
- Pellets are chemically identical to the hormones your body produces naturally.

Why patients choose pellet therapy over other options.
Steady delivery.
Pellets release hormone continuously – no injection days, no forgotten pills.
Dosed to your labs.
Dr. Shemiranei reads your panel and adjusts every cycle, not every year.
Both sexes treated.
Men with low T and women navigating perimenopause or menopause are both welcome.
In-office insertion, 10 minutes.
A small pellet is placed under the skin of the hip or buttock. No surgery, no stitches.
Follow-up is built in.
We recheck labs at 6 weeks, then adjust dosing before your next pellet cycle.
Private and discreet.
Your visit, your records, your body – treated with the discretion you deserve.

Conditions we treat with hormone therapy.
Low Testosterone (Men)
Fatigue, low drive, muscle loss, mood changes – low T is measurable and treatable.
Perimenopause
Irregular cycles, hot flashes, anxiety – early hormone shifts addressed before they escalate.
Menopause
Estrogen and progesterone pellets to reduce hot flashes, night sweats, and vaginal dryness.
Brain Fog
Hormone imbalance is a leading driver of cognitive cloudiness in both men and women.
Low Libido
Testosterone and estrogen both play roles in drive and satisfaction for men and women.
Fatigue & Low Energy
When thyroid and adrenals check out fine but energy stays low, hormones are often the missing piece.
Body Composition
Balanced testosterone and estrogen support lean muscle and make fat loss more achievable.
Poor Sleep
Hormonal swings disrupt sleep architecture – rebalancing often restores deep, restorative sleep.

Hormone care grounded in lab work, not guesswork.

You don’t find this connection these days in doctors’ offices.
Hormone replacement at APMUC starts the same way every time: with your bloodwork. Dr. Saied Shemiranei, medical director and founder, has seen too many patients arrive after years on ill-fitting hormone regimens prescribed without a proper panel. We do it differently at our Orlando, Florida clinic.
Bioidentical pellets are placed sub-dermally and dissolve on their own over 3-6 months. There’s no daily routine to maintain, no injection anxiety, and no wild swings in hormone levels. We recheck your labs at six weeks and adjust the next dose accordingly.
We treat men and women. We speak English, Spanish, Farsi, French, and Portuguese. Our job is to help you feel like yourself again – and to keep you there.

Dr. Shemiranei took the time to listen to my concerns, explained everything clearly, and made me feel comfortable throughout the visit. It’s clear that patient care is a top priority here.
He explained everything in detail and answered all my questions. I saw eye contact from this doctor — you don’t find this connection these days in doctors’ offices. Thanks again Dr. Shemiranei.
I’ve been with them for 2 years now. They’re quick, precise, and inexpensive. All around great experience every single time.
Frequently asked questions.
Does hormone pellet therapy hurt?
The insertion site is numbed first. Most patients describe mild pressure for a few seconds. Soreness at the site fades within 2-3 days.
How long until I feel results?
Many patients notice improved energy and mood within 2-4 weeks. Full effects are typically felt by week 6 when we recheck labs.
Are bioidentical hormones FDA-approved?
Compounded bioidentical pellets are not FDA-approved as products, but the hormones in them are bio-identical to what your body produces. Dr. Shemiranei will explain the distinction during your consult.
Do you treat men too?
Yes. Low testosterone in men is a primary area of our hormone practice. Pellet therapy is highly effective for restoring male hormone levels.
How often do I need a pellet insertion?
Women typically need insertion every 3-4 months. Men typically every 4-6 months, depending on individual metabolism.
Will insurance cover this?
Most insurance plans do not cover compounded bioidentical pellets. Bloodwork may be partially covered depending on your plan. We’ll provide a cost estimate before any procedure.
Can I combine pellets with thyroid treatment?
Yes. We often address thyroid and sex hormones together, since they interact significantly. Bloodwork guides the full picture.
What if my levels go too high?
We monitor closely. If levels are out of range at the 6-week recheck, the next pellet dose is reduced. Pellets cannot be removed, but they do dissolve naturally within the cycle.
Is there a weight-loss benefit?
Balanced testosterone and estrogen support better body composition, but hormone therapy is not a weight-loss program on its own. Ask about our medical weight management program too.
